My mum and I were buying a farm that had a small house on the land. The owner of the house had loads of dogs, including two collies. One was always locked up in a cage in a barn and never had any love. When my mum and I were looking around the house, i noticed her and fell in love, but her owner didn’t know.

She had never been in a house or car. She had never been outside of her cage.
When the sale finally went through for the house, we didn’t go there for a few days, thinking what’s the rush? When we finally turned up, we noticed her still locked in her cage with no food or water, lying in her own filth. We got her out straight away and gave her water, food, and wet meat, which she’d also never had.
She was covered in cuts and mats. We put her straight in the car, which was a huge deal for her, but she was fine, and took her to our home. We gave her a bath, another thing she had never experienced.
A year later, she sleeps on my bed with me and loves attention. She plays with my horses and goats, and they all love her! We take her competing (horse riding) with us, and she loves the crowds of people giving her attention. i even show her, and she always wins! Very proud of our little puppy!
